Dirk Bogaerts, born in 1971, lives in Rahier in Belgium. At the age of 18, he fell particularly in love with the magnificent Ardenne Bleue region, the region of the Spa Francorchamps racetrack. He started photography in 1989 while studying to be a master in mechatronical engineering. He calls himself a World Photographer for his interest in a wide range of photographic subjects. He is passionate about people, travel, nature, technology & books !
Né en 1971, Dirk Bogaerts vit aujourd’hui à Rahier, en Belgique. À l’âge de 18 ans, il est tombé amoureux de l’Ardenne Bleue, la magnifique région bordant le circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. Il s’est lancé dans la photographie en 1989, tout en poursuivant des études d’ingénieur en mécatronique. Il se définit lui-même comme un Photographe du Monde, car il aime capturer dans son objectif les sujets les plus variés. Les gens, les voyages, la nature, la technologie, les livres… tout le passionne !

FUJIFILM BELGIUM PRESENTS : 
MOROCCO PHOTO ADVENTURE BY DIRK BOGAERTS
INFO DAY : MARCH 23 - 14h

Fujifilm Belgium and Dirk Bogaerts collaborate to organise a photo adventure to Morocco (max 10 pers), which takes place between 7 and 19 may 2014. We will visit the imperial cities for 8 days and then head into the south and the desert by 4x4 for the remaining days. For the first part of the trip we have a minivan with driver, a guide and Dirk as photographer on board. For the second part we have a 4x4 vehicle at our disposal with driver. One of the highlights of the second part is the night at a luxury bivouac in the desert to shoot the starry night sky and the sunrise.

The Morocco photo adventure is open to all photography skill levels (from beginner to highly experienced) and to all types and brands of photo equipment.

We organise an info day on this photo adventure on March, 23 - 14h at my place :

Fujifilm Belgium asked me to shoot their brand new X-T1 during this trip and to put my findings on their facebook page. I’m honoured that they reserved one of the first X-T1 models arriving in Belgium for me. I laid my hands on their demo model yesterday and it is awesome. More later … when mine arrives in a couple of weeks. Can’t wait !!
