FUJIFILM X-T1 @ CH SETTING
Last weekend I was working in the WRC Monte-Carlo 2015 rally, near Col de Fontbelle on Saturday. A colleague accredited photographer looked at my Fujifilm X-T1 fitted with the 50-140mm f/2.8 OIS WR lens. As usual, the X-T1 is a conversation starter among professional photographers.
Shooting a rally car cornering like this, is awesome. However, you never know in advance where the most spectacular moment will be, since every car makes a different slide, cuts in the snow at a different place. So we shoot at the highest possible frame rate. My colleague shooting one of the more common brands in autosport photography, was convinced that my Fujifilm X-T1 didn't have the necessary frame rate.
Therefore I made this little stop motion video. The camera was set to Continuous Autofocus and the frame rate to CH (Continuous High). The X-T1 shot between 7 and 8 shots per second. All were in focus (due to the low video resolution you have to take my word on this). Shutter speed was set at 1/1000 sec and aperture at f/2.8. Auto-ISO set at 1250.
Judge for yourself ...
